The work was also the subject of the article "Análise Semiótico do Vídeo da Ana Luísa Flores" [Semiotic Analysis of Ana Luísa Flores's Video] by Rosely Demercian, Ronaldo Auad Moreira and Willis Santiago Guerra Filho (2014). The article examines the duration of the act of reading, as the artist reads Virginia Woolf's short story of the same name, and the tension between yielding to and resisting another person's time.
